Supposedly, the Barbours wanted Cochran to win, then resign for health reasons and Barbours son would be appointed. That sounds about right - and then they'd have had 40 more years of the GOPe.
They're no better than the Clintons and Obamas - make deals for their own political power and screw the country. Hillary seems to be claiming it as a badge of courage that she lied because Obama made her and she didn't want to risk her career by telling the country the truth.
