Supposedly, the Barbours wanted Cochran to win, then resign for health reasons and Barbours son would be appointed. hmmph figures..

This will not end well for Cochran. I hope it ends in decimation for GOP-e.

“Did Cochran even speak? Is he that far gone that they cant put him on front of a mike?”
They tried doing that after the primary and he started talking about doing “indecent” things to animals and praising obamacare to the extent his staff had to call the reporter and say he was talking about the VA. If his statement was about the VA it didn’t make any sense at all, at least his statement made sense in the context of obamacare, he’s for it and will do nothing to get rid of it and certainly not defund it or anything else.

I hope it ends in decimation for GOP-e. Decimation -- the destruction of a mere one-tenth -- is simply not enough.
How about annihilation?

“This may not end well for MS.”
It wouldn’t be the first thing that ever ended badly for Mississippi, but this could end well for the state and Conservatives everywhere.

Could be simply a question of money. A campaign costs money, simply being appointed to replace a retiring senator is free.

Is there a MS radio station that I can listen to online that is covering this story?

Somebody posted about a show called Supertalk. Sounded like it was a Mississippi-wide radio show.

No kidding. I was shocked to see a normally reliable GOPe shill like Wallbanger condemn the Cochran campaign so forcefully.
I bet they were even more shocked than I was =)

I guess the politics in every state of the union is corrupt. Politics is an inherently dirty business.
