Just more government waste
The only reason for a building to over run renovation costs is because they're doing something that was not authorized or allowed.
I hope that waste is all that it is, but what if it isn't? This being Washington DC and the building being done by union labor, is it beyond consideration that fungible money on padded expenses goes to where a partisan Administration wants it to go? The reason for Congressional Oversight is to have ELECTED Congress-critters to be able to make stink about corruption.
The CFPB was made a part of the Federal Reserve Bank organization with NO ELECTED OFFICIALS! In fairness, we have lots of corruption even with elected legislators and executives, yet this 'bureau' funded through the Federal Reserve fees coming from throughout its regulatory sphere, is already starting to use the 'lost homework' after a mere 3 years of operation.
Can we say Corruptocracy?
