This is little different from GHW Bush and the Kurds after Gulf War #1. Saddam slaughtered those people, and the Bush administration ignored their pleas.
I would consider myself pro Kurd, and I was appalled at that episode.
But knucklehead Bush considers Islam a religion of peace, and doesn't seem to have any understanding of the politics of that area.Where were his advisors?
Granted the Kurds are Sunnis like ISIS, but their separate culture from the Arabs makes them more amenable to being reasonable people to deal with from an Infidel point of view. -Tom
