Baltimore VA is a nightmare compared to others.
Vets get better treatment from doctors who understand them (read: vets) - dismantling the VA would be bad for our vets who need the most care.
Without a breakdown of job titles, these statistics are meaningless. If most of the 18,709 making over $180k are physicians, than that would explain it. If most of them are pencil pushers, then we have a real travesty on our hands.
What? Are you crazy? I live in Arnold and specifically go to Baltimore VA because they are so exceptional.
Amarillo, Nashville and Leavenworth are much better!
V A ping.
Some of them are going to be on the Dole after they lose their gig at the VA. If mental stability was a requirement, 25% would be let go - there are a lot of crazy people at the VA working as healthcare providers. I spent one month there in 1997 and left in 28-days flat - nut jobs run Veteran Healthcare - and we are seeing the results of it in the press.
