I believe it was engineered, but I really don't understand their strategy.

• They can't vote short term because they are kids. So maybe 4 years from now, they are a plus for the democrats, but only if they get amnesty and can vote.
• It seems to me that this influx makes amnesty less likely than more likely, so it would seem to defeat the democrat goals for amnesty.
• It's overwhelmed the border guards, so probably more drugs are getting through.
• If the goal was to embarrass Republicans, I doubt it worked.
• If the goal was to weaken America, it's not really likely to.
• Obama has asked for money to deal with it. Maybe that was the goal all along. More money to pay bundlers.

The Children’s Crusade will be moved to Red and Swing states for “processing.”
There they will be re-united with their (extended) families. (If you oppose this, you obviously hate children...)
When Congress (or an activist Federal Court) gives them and a “path to citizenship” those states will suddenly and permanently turn “Blue.”

That is the plan as I see it.
