I just posted the following in an e-mail to my Senator Rob Portman of Ohio:
“As a past supporter (both financially and by volunteering to go door to door for you), I would like your comments regarding your recent support and financing on Thad Cochran’s senate primary run-off against Chris Cochran - especially in light of this new information coming to light this morning: http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2014/06/thad-cochran-campaign-manager-busted-in-vote-buying-scheme/
It appears that the establishment has lowered itself to illegal and salacious behavior in an attempt to “protect their own” from a more conservative Republican who wants to restore good government and faith in good government. Rob, tell me, what’s with you going all in on the Good Old Boys fighting the base harder than they fight the liberals?
Your constituents deserve an explanation and some answers.
DID any of your financial contributions to Thad’s run-off efforts go to fund vote buying in Mississippi?”
I doubt you’ll get a response from Portman. Too busy planning his son’s gay ‘wedding’. These guys are shameless.
You meant to say Chris McDaniel, not Chris Cochran. Other than that, good letter. Let us know if you hear back (or if a 10,000-ton asteroid hits the earth — whichever comes first).
