-Earlier reports were that the village was being attacked by a group of three jets. TWO are now reprted to have been shot down by ground fire.

UK forces heavily bombarded it with artillery and air before attacking it, then panicked when they got hit with a flank ambush.
Reports say 1 APC (or AFV?), 2 BMP’s and two Ural Trucks destroyed, 35-40 UK troops killed, more wounded. Rebels report around 10-12 killed.
2 Russian REN-TV Journalists on the Russian side of the border were hurt when UK shells fell across the border.
