Yup, it's almost certainly a useless hulk. It may even have been buried somewhere for years, dug up once Saddam's regime was wiped away, and dumped in a warehouse.
We have more to worry about these radicalized types coming back to Western countries and pulling lone wolf or small group shootings. In fact, I've always thought the greatest weakness of these terrorist types is their determination to pull off the big event instead of just sending 30 guys with basic sniper rifles to cities all over the US, UK, etc. I live in the DC area and remember the Beltway Snipers, 2 guys in a crappy car, caused immense chaos and fear. Now just imagine a bunch of jihadi's doing that in say 10-15 cities at once.
Which lasted a lot longer than necessary because they were so certain that it was an angry 50 something white guy in a white panel van.
