The company spokeswoman said the office could not confirm details about the driver or the crash, including whether he was an employee.

Why not?

The company does not know if the driver of their truck was their employee?

The images clearly show the company truck's cab to be intact...Did the driver of the company truck have ID, or a wallet?

Could the cops not match the ID with the driver? Is there no pic or description of the driver on his own license?

Why does the company not know who the hell is driving their truck?

Yes, but not telling us, IS telling us. It is like the knock out crimes. They usually don't tell us, but THAT tells us.
