This is what $2 billion will buy, remember.

*******

$2 billion: Won't it be cheaper and more effective in the long run to give $1 million each to Salvador, Honduras, and Guatemala to set up camps and programs to keep their children at home instead of using $2 billion to settle the children in this country?

“cheaper and more effective”

“Cheaper” is not a design goal when it comes to programs spewed out by this admin. This admin wants stuff to be as expensive as possible so that more and more palms of their buddies get greased. My snarky comment was aimed at “buses”

I wonder what the value of every stinking bus in the US is?

NY has 5700 buses, that’s municipal. Private buses, no way to know quickly.
East Bay, AC transit has 569 buses.

One or more of 0bamas’ pals who owns bus lines is gonna get half a dozen new buses for free.

As to “more effective”, one always has to qualify what that means, and to whom. Is it more effective in terms of creating absolute chaos and withering away any remaining aspect of the American system, in other words, societal vandalism? Or is it more effective in redistributing illegals among so many cities that no one city has to take an outsize burden? Or maybe I should say, no one city gets an outsize benefit of so many of these solid contributors to our economy.
