You get massive disease outbreaks in cities and the people that can will be fleeing the cities for someplace safer.
You will get riots and you will get massive looting as food stores shut down because there is nobody to run them because they are all sick.

People are going to start wearing gloves whenever they go out again. It was still standard for "ladies" and "gentlemen" in this country until WWII.
