I have very little family and few friends just for this reason. They’re evil.
I belonged to a local Republican group for a number of years and worked very hard to elect at least a majority in the House. Then this very group decided to totally support the local Chamber of Commerce in their quest to flood our Texas market with illegals. Never able to understand why - so I said adios. Lost lots of acquaintances. Turns out they were not the stuff friends or Conservatives are made of after all.
