No, but they might be melamine impregnated to fakeout the chemistry. Back in the 80s and 90s the Asians were sending fake heat data with their metal and our military and industry ended up with a lot of inventory that was way below standard and had to be replaced at high cost. Now a days they seem to be finding ways to fakeout the standard chemical tests on food additives and such so why not metals.
