It needs to be discussed as using the IRS for political gain and revenge. Make it more general and get it out beyond the highly engaged newsies. Say these are actions that would make Nixon blush.
It’s largely about effective messaging. Something our side continues to do poorly. The tea party has effectively been painted as some fringe group even as many who share every view of the movement think they aren’t part of it.
Agree on poor messaging. But after the Mississippi runoff it’s clear the establishment GOP is as willing to target tea party conservatives as the White Hut.
