“I stopped eating out a lot for financial reasons, but I have to admit I was skeeved by waitresses and others around my food that had so many tattoos and piercings. I’m not crazy; people who get tattoos can’t give blood (for at least a year, I believe) for a reason...”

Yes, well I have a tattoo. And according to you and others on FR I am a freak and an idiot basically. A problem arises, when actual facts are introduced to the equation.

I served this country with honor...

I am successfully self employed and pay more in taxes and earn more than many on this site...

I have had more than a few upper level management positions...

I have two Bachelor’s degrees and a MBA...

So, once again do I have to say that not everyone can be painted with the same brush? I see a ton of thinking like this on FR. It is no wonder that Conservatism is struggling to extend its reach, especially among the young and other groups. We are looked at as being pig-headed, closed minded, and downright ignorant in some ways. Even those who may stand with us ideologically won’t admit it out loud because of these kinds of antics.

I am not saying people should walk around covered in tattoos. Everything should be done in moderation. But just because I have a tattoo that says, “Peace Through Superior Firepower”, on my arm does not make me a degenerate.

Do you have tattoos on your face/neck? A pierced eyebrow? Play victim somewhere else; I was fairly specific about where I drew a line.
