For all the yapping about "truth to power" we heard in the Bush days, now the media are telling McDaniels to "just lie back and enjoy it"--from both sides--which smokes some of the so-called "conservative" pundits out, too.
McDaniels is peeling back the rock that was the GOP and we are seeing what is crawling underneath, trying to scuttle out of the sunlight.
As for the stock market, most of what has gone on there is a balloon inflated by quantitative easing, held by investment banks, and when that pops the average person will be lucky to get out with their shirt.
I have only small positions in a few resource based stocks, (less than five figures), a hit I can afford if it evaporates, but because they are either producers of PMs or Rare earths, for the most part, I doubt they'll disappear. For now, I'm staying out of the stock market, for the most part.
