Tea-party candidate Chris McDaniel is looking for volunteers to help in what is shaping up to be a monumental showdown with Mississippis old-line Republican Party machine.
The embattled U.S. Senate candidate sent out an email blast late Friday night asking supporters for their help in his challenge to Tuesdays runoff election loss to six-term incumbent Sen. Thad Cochran. The runoff election, in which McDaniel lost by less than 6,800 votes, has become a microcosm of the nationwide war within the Republican Party between tea-party reformers and establishment Republicans.
On June 3rd we won the popular vote, McDaniel said in the email sent out to tea-party supporters about 10:15 p.m. Friday with the subject line Help me.
On June 24th we won the Republican primary election, the email read. As you might have heard, were not quite done. We are in the process of trying to ensure a fair and accurate election took place on Tuesday. And we need your help.
McDaniel asked those wanted to get involved in his fight to email their name, city, phone number and email address to mcdanielvolunteer@tynerlawfirm.com.

I sure hope that happens, problem is they are pushing for a Monday certification of Cochran. I really don’t know how all that works.
Many counties are making it extremely difficult for McDaniels' staff to do so which should be illegal but who know what passes for legal in Mississippi.
MY guess is there is a lot of cash being passed around all over Mississippi by the Barbour mob.Too bad it can't be traced, tracked or even discovered.
Once again what is so sad is that Haley Barbour had to resort to the same tactics used by the commie dems to take down a true Tea Party Patriot.
What if Chris found enough votes invalid for a recount? Other races have survived recounts so I don’t think it would be so hard.
All conservative groups who supported McDaniel are accepting the election results: FreedomWorks, Tea Party Express, Cloub for Growth, Tea Party Patriots, Ted Cruz, etc - its time to move on and not help the Dems defeat the GOP while waving the conservative flag.
National supporters leaving McDaniel to his own fate

Article states (no quote because of copyright) that all conservative groups who supported McDaniel accepted the results of the primary.
As to who benefits just from the little bit of research I have done it appears Haley Barbour and much of his family have set up an intricate web of payola throughout the state and linking into dc with lobbyists and who knows whom else to get whatever they deem necessary for the state and profit handsomely along the way.
Rock and Roll PING!

"Barbour has been described as "one of Washington's all-time mega-lobbyists."[12] He "was a wealthy K Street lobbyist for giant corporations such as RJ Reynolds, Philip Morris, Amgen, Microsoft, United Health, Southern Company, and many others."
[13] In 1991, Barbour helped found the lobbying group now known as BGR Group,[14] a Washington, D.C.-based lobbying firm, with Ed Rogers, a lawyer who formerly worked in the George H. W. Bush administration. In 1994, Lanny Griffith (also a former Bush administration appointee) joined the firm.
In 1998, Fortune magazine named Barbour Griffith & Rogers as the second-most-powerful lobbying firm in America.[15] In 2001, after the inauguration of George W. Bush, Fortune named it the most powerful.[16] The firm "is employed by several foreign countries, as well as oil and cigarette companies."[12] Its role in advocating on behalf of the tobacco industry has been particularly prominent.
[17] BGR also "lobbied on behalf of the Embassy of Mexico in 2001 to promote a bill related to Section 245(i) of the Immigration and Nationality Act. This provision would have provided a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants in the United States, through family connections or job skills, without a requirement that they return to their home country for the requisite 3-10 years. This is what's often referred to as 'amnesty.'"
[18] "As part of that work, Barbour's firm arranged meetings and briefings with 'Senators, members of Congress and their staffs, as well as Executive Branch Officials in the White House, National Security Council, State Department, and Immigration & Naturalization Service'. Barbour's firm charged Mexico $35,000 a month, plus expenses."[19]
As of 2010, the firm remains one of DC's top 25, but has seen revenues drop both in 2009 and in 2010.[20] Barbour continues to "collect payments from BGR through a blind trust, which was recently valued at $3.3 million."[12]" Second most powerful lobbying firm in the US--pretty much says it all.
The money is too good for the Gop-e.
That is why the Tea Party is such a threat to them.
Not the Dems. who should be Pubbie enemy #1.
No, we are because the gravy train will end for them.
The country be damned.
Good research—thanks for sharing.
Thanks very much. Sometimes I’m amazed at what is going on out there. No wonder we don’t beat the dems we are so divided.
Couldn't disagree more. Those groups are backing off because of money, they've spent enough on one race and have to be there for others.
Not the case for the people though who know how important it is to support the only guy who is willing to fight the evil forces that have taken over our government. We the People need to stay with McDaniel for as long as he can stay in the fight.
Thanks deport!
“We have lost.”
You need a new transmission, sister.
It may well be a “NO VOTE” effort. Mississippi law does not allow “write ins” they are not counted, but if you write in a name and mark that space on thge ballot it will show as someone who voted but chose to not vote in that race. If a large number of people did that and especially if they used the same name it would have an impact that republicans couldn’t ignore.
The campaign has my information but I’m working through my county organization which is cordinated with the state organization and we are involved, I was at two courthouses Friday and going back to one Monday.
“The ones most deserving of being thrown in prison. Haley and Henry Barbour”
Don” forget Austin.
It is time to un-ass these traitors from our collective lives.
They are the Borg.
We WILL be assimilated unless we do something, now.
How many “scandals” must we allow?
How much tolerance shall we endure?
How many lies shall we accept?
There is no reaching across the aisle.
The “Barbarians” are at the gate and the wood is rotten.
The face of evil is apparent.
I see that some on here are stupid enough to believe that any DEM would give up his/her seat in 2 years, regardless of whether it is in writing or not. They are lawless, and a piece of paper means nothing to the RATS - nor the federal judges put on the bench by zero. Grow up!
Sure, let’s give Obama unchecked full power! What a great idea, that’ll show the GOP.
Of course we won’t have a country left by then, but who cares, just so we take revenge on the GOP-e! (/sarc0
Bump!
