Lois Lerner has no records of two years of missing emails and Republican claims that shes hiding something are silly, her lawyer said in his first interview since the controversy around the former IRS official erupted two weeks ago.
She doesnt know what happened, lawyer William Taylor III said of the 2011 computer crash that erased two years worth of Lerners correspondence. Its a little brazen to think she did this on purpose.

Another public servant “fighting back” against hardworking, American taxpayers! Let’s all celebrate! She’s like some kind of freaky Nazi Wonder Woman!
Who is William Taylor III ?
She already fought back when she destroyed the
hard drives, and then the backup tapes.
To clarify, when an employee’s hard drive crashes, there is no effect on emails. When this happens, all historical emails are reloaded from the central email server.
I’m sure the central email server did not crash. That would have made national news in 2011.
So when did Lying Lois Lerner ever tell the truth?
This whole thing will go nowhere. Lerner has the full force of the executive and administrative branches of the government backing her up. Add all of the cronies and you hit a literal brick wall. Until one side quits playing by the rules of their adversary, their adversary will keep winning.
The facts are closing in on her, otherwise she’d just remain quiet.
There’s an administrative brach of government?
“Lois Lerner has no records of two years of missing emails and Republican claims that shes hiding something are silly, her lawyer said...”
There’s a non-denial denial. Of course she has no records—she destroyed them.
It’s a bit like the man who killed his parents asking for mercy because he’s an orphan.
I have had my share of fixing computers... but if she got the Blue Screen, that is generated by Windows XP OpSys, that means her disk was spinning up and attempting to read the boot sector.
There should have been readable data sectors. I call BS on the Hard Drive crash.
They're a lot more hands in this pie, someone was ordered to destroy the drive and left a clue, or someone with little experience attempted to make it look like a HD crash.
Accidents happen---like for instance, the crash of 6 more computers of people who had been emailing back and forth with Lerner.
Such coincidences are such a bitch if you are suspicious (color me that), and so serendipitous if you are guilty(color Lerner et al that).
vaudine
What made her computer crash?
That really just doesn’t happen anymore. The only thing that could have made such happen is if Lois was looking at porn all day.
If she’s not hiding anything, why did she plead the 5th?
A good start, but he needs to tie it to the War on Women. Later, if needed, he can reveal that Lerner is 1/36th Cherokee Indian and play the race card. :)
Not in defense of LOIS, but let’s say she didn’t destroy the emails. It isn’t as though the Obama team couldn’t hack her computer and remove incriminating information, such as who she communicated with at the WH which I think is why the emails were destroyed.. Frankly, I don’t think LL is the brightest bulb on the tree, she was doing the devils work and was obviously being used and managed.
If six employee’s hard drives, containing all of their emails “crashed” is it possible to remove those accounts only from the email server, and would the server show evidence that those accounts had been removed?
Sorry, I can’t hear or read anything she says. My ears and eyes have invoked the 5th.
Here’s the question I would like to have answered...we know the emails were backed up on multiple servers, and archived as well. If in fact the e-mails no longer exist, it could only be by deliberate and illegal acts. WHO would have the administrative authority on these systems to access and delete the e-mails, and what if any record of that access would exist and could be retrieved?
