Obama Blames GOP For His Failed Presidency

If ever one needed proof of the unsuitability of Barack Obama for the presidency, that proof was visible for the world to see today in Minneapolis. Accusing the GOP of a “block me and call me names strategy,” Obama may have thought he was “going Bulworth” but he was really unleashing his spoiled, petulant two year old.

President Obama says he’s been itching to “say what’s on my mind” about Republicans in Washington. And today on the banks of Lake Harriet he let loose, turning an official event on the economy into a rally for Democrats in the midterm campaign.

“So far this year Republicans in Congress have blocked or voted down every single idea to strengthen the middle class,” Obama told a crowd of 3,500.

“Don’t boo,” he quipped. “I want you to vote.”

So is Obama admitting his presidency is a failure? Cool! I think the GOP would be quite happy with taking credit for that.

I looked it up. The GOP has passed over 1200 pieces of legislation since they took over the house. Reid has taken up 20 or so of the items. 13 of them have been signed into law. Obama clearly wants nothing to be debated in the Senate, so he will have to weigh in on nothing himself. He likes that nothing ever reaches his desk. It’s his way of voting “Present.” The House is doing what the House does. Obama and the Senate are simply not will to acknowledge what the House is doing.

The real problem is that Obama sees himself as President of only about 30% of the country. He has no time, patience, or respect for the other 70%...especially the conservative part of that group. Part of being a leader is being the leader of all people....even people you don’t agree with. Obama has no concept of how to do this...or desire for that matter. No President can write-off half of the population and be an effective leader. Obama is trying his best to lead that way, but it’s not working....and that’s on him...not the House of Reps.

Being President is a hard and difficult job....and it is obviously too hard for President Obama.

Obama daily schedule
Wake up
Whine about the evil GOP
Sign an unconstitutional executive order
Golf
Fund raise
Go to bed

I own a business. As owner or if you will, “Leader” of my business, I get beat up on a lot. Every problem ends at my desk, there are no where else for these problems to go, they are my problems.

This is how it should be. I gambled all of my money on this place. I wanted it, I asked for it, I have to own it and the million problems that go with it. I cannot pass the buck, the buck stops here. I get the good when times are good and I get the bad when things begin to suck. I have to be here through it all. No use in complaining about it, deal with it.

How long do you think I would be able to stay in business if I tried to pass the buck back down the line? What would happen if a customer call me up and said, “Rick, we have a huge problem with your product” and my response was “I didn’t personally make this part, somebody else did. I didn’t even know about it, it’s not my fault.” If my first reaction is to deflect blame because I am more worried about ducking blame than I am about solving the problem then I am pretty sure the customer would throw me out on my ass.

Companies cannot survive with poor leaders or weak leaders and it is tough to find them. Everybody wants to be the boss until they become the boss and discover how hard it is to be the boss. You don’t have a lot of friends. If you are a person who craves popularity, forget about it, you cannot worry about that and be a good boss. Grow some thick skin.

Being a leader means you have to LEAD. When times are tough and slings and arrows are being shot at your company and tomatoes are being thrown, you have to LEAD, you have to go to the front and YOU have to absorb the slings and arrows, you cannot hide behind somebody else, you have to be out in front and be strong, you have to set an example by forcing yourself into the thick of it, RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF IT. You give your people confidence, you set an example, your people know that they can depend on you, you have their backs, COME ON GUYS, LET”S GO, WE CAN DO THIS.

This brings me to the purpose of this little ditty. Our countries “Leader”, president Barack Obama. He is incapable of taking responsibility for anything. Whenever there is a problem his first instinct is to deflect blame, “I didn’t know anything about this, this is George Bush’s fault, I just found out about it on the news, those boneheads in the IRS did this, not me”, on and on and on, one million excuses and no personal responsibility or accountability.

He is a thin skinned petulant child. We are going to leave a bankrupt country for our children to deal with and all our “Leader” is worried about is Barack Obama. There are about 10 major scandals out there involving the Federal Government that Mr. President could clear up in a heartbeat, he could tell his people, “Get all of the information out there, let’s see what happened and I will deal with it, I’ll be out in front on this, I got you guys, I’ll take responsibility” but instead he is hunkered down, totally invested in avoiding the truth and blocking discovery because it might make him look bad.

In short, he is just a terrible leader. This is not new to some of us who closely follow these things, when in his life has he ever lead?

He does not have our backs. He does not inspire confidence, quite the opposite. I sometimes believe that he is rather ashamed of America. Mr. President, stop apologizing for America, we are not perfect but we are the best thing that this world has going for it. Another thing, you were elected to represent all Americans, not just a small faction of the Democrat party. It’s like you represent this small minority and you are out to get everybody else. You somehow believe that you can lead by dividing the country, rich against poor, man against women, black against white, what kind of heart beats in your chest that allows you to do this?

You sir are a destructive force in this country and as far as leadership goes, you sir are the BIGGEST PUSSY ON TWO FEET.

I'm afraid not. Very afraid. Throughout the history of America, American presidents, it would make sense to call a president nearing the end of their term a 'lame duck' as members of Congress had nothing to fear in defying any president's waning political power regarding a particular bill or law.

But this guy, first of all, he's been bypassing Congress to make his own laws. But the worst fear is what he is capable of as Commander in Chief, militarily, economically, socially, his ability to unleash the worst sort of havoc and mayhem remains up to the last few waning seconds of his term.

“OMG!!!! Clueless in DC”

He’s right about one thing, he is a failure. He has created more chaos worldwide than I ever could have imagined. This Obama dude is clearly not up to the job.
