I meant destroy Biden’s hope of being the presumptive nominee for 2016. Hillary can’t run against the sitting VP without first destroying his chances. And they’d rather have him bow out completely to open up the field (and she’ll need the entire width of the field to get her thunder thighs onto the grid).
