I suspected the step mother from the beginning but I'm still unsure about the father. Still a lot of unanswered questions but the boy appears to be unharmed and safe for now.
I'm still curious about where the blood came from.

I suspect that in cases where the children are hurt that it takes both "Parents" in the house to get away with it....one may be the violent one and the other the enabler....
people used to care about children....no wonder we can so heartlessly abort babies without a second thought...

I don’t know about the dogs, if the child lived in the home how could the dogs find him? His scent would already be everywhere, so that just doesn’t make sense to me.
