I have to think that they knew ALL about him well before since at least his political career launched in the home of a domestic terrorist.

But Lest we forget, Palin was more of a threat. Must have been since Dick and Liz have had far more media face time about her than Barry.

Regardless, Barry was smoothed over and none of the info that ANY pres/VP would have on the opposition was ever used to stop him.
