Good guys.
Holmes County has a total of 19,000 people and is heavily dem. McDaniel needs 5,000 more votes than Cochran to win. This county will probably have about 500 total Rep. votes. Not going to put Chris over the goal line.
I know... it’s AWFUL to even think about that. I am sure I would not do it in reality, but I live in CT. We are two peas in a sad pod of city dominance. Power to us... and I see your point perfectly, it’s mine... and I see your brother’s point too. UGH!!!!
And just when I said it would be impossible ot make up,
T. Cochran (i) 50.20% 168,013
C. McDaniel 49.80% 166,850
1,163
Chris has knocked the diff down to 1,163, but like Sunday’s race at Sonoma, there are just not enough laps to catch the leader.
50.2 to 49.8 now
It just tightened up big time.
I can’t sit still!
Agree completely. Beauprez is the only chance we have to overturn the gun laws that have Hickenlooper running scared and apologizing all over the state right now. Beauprez isn't perfect, but with Tancredo, there is no chance at all.
Hickenlooper is vulnerable because of the gun laws he signed and because of the death penalty issue, and he knows it. He needs to be voted out and Colorado needs to overturn those gun laws.
There is a lot at stake tonight.
Back to a 2,500 vote diff.
MS: Jones Co came in big time. Of the remaining counties, DeSoto looks the most promising. Holmes was only plus 100 for Cochran in round 1.
50.4 now...
Exactly right. Screw Beauprez.
C. McDaniel 49.5% 155,040
Winner* T. Cochran (i) 49.0% 153,654
T. Carey 1.5% 4,789
lolz
Sorry, that’s MS
The 1,163 was just a teaser.
T. Cochran (i) 50.60% 175,385
C. McDaniel 49.40% 171,388
3,997
95.3% reporting
I forgot to remove the winner, and it worked out nicely sarcastically. LOL!
Excuse my ignorance, but how are there 3 candidates in a runoff? Is this a write in deal? Is that allowed in a RUNOFF?
40,000 more voters in the runoff.
