When IRS Commissioner John Koskinen arrogantly told Congress that he had no apologies for an agency that has targeted conservative groups for special scrutiny, had a top-ranking bureaucrat take the Fifth Amendment, and destroyed its own correspondence, he meant it. Nor did Lisa Jackson, the former head of the EPA, offer any apologies for concocting a fake persona, replete with false e-mail identity (

Love VDH. Profoundly nails it every time.

Islam, Marxism, liberals/progressives have one thing in common in their respective religions.

Each condones and promotes lying when it serves their interests and goals.

When truth means nothing, all is lost.

Ping to a VDH classic. He comprehensively reviews and exposes this lawless corrupt community-organizer administration for what it is ...

"... a new federal government that is a sort of rogue organism that exists for its own enhancement and is willing to do anything necessary to help those who help it."

McConnell and Boehner and every member of the GOP Congress should appear at a press conference on the steps of Congress and demand an end to this corrupt lawlessness.

We should not be surprised.

The founders knew that governments grow more rapidly than the host and so the ability do demand resources was deliberately limited.

The Progressives introduced the Sixteenth Amendment to rectify that limitation.

This was analogous to angiogenesis in cancer - a permanent, ever-increasing source of nutrients.

A better analogy is cancer as it kills the host from within.

I'm actually surprised that we lasted this long.

VDH nails it.

Is anyone here really surprised? Cloward/Piven, Alinksy...

I once thought Atlas shrugging could change govt behavior, but at least at the Federal level they seem to encourage it.

The Gov Curley strategy on steroids...

The two lead the party's submission, but even the so-called Tea Party congress persons haven't done their jobs.

2010 election American people explicitly told them they got this one chance to right the wrongs done till that time by the most ambitious top executive this country has ever seen.

How far along have any of them done anything (I count three maybe making noises) to stop the tide? Obama and his merry band run the banana republic however they want to.

Those tea-party candidates I supported in the past two elections came running asking for more donations, that's what I told them. They've squandered their chances. No more political money, I'm spending it on myself.

A good line, but he doesn't give the scope of evil unleashed by this administration the right amount of depth with his mild description (I love VDH, but this is somewhat like pablum).

This is serious, we've never seen anything like this in this country. We have a deranged, demagogic, totalitarian leftist as our president who has turned everything he touches into pure drek, one who has manipulated ALL the organs of government to enhance the leftist lust for power. We have a GOP elite that doesn't understand the depth of evil it's confronting or is too comfortable with its perks to care. We have a media that cheers for the administration, bent on slathering lipstick on the pig and calling it a beautiful and desirous supermodel. We have a center right (often displayed here at FR) that is so fractured that it has no capacity to mount a serious challenge. Witness the reelection of Lindsay et al and the powerlessness we all feel on a daily basis.

This feels like a combination of pre WW II Germany, and post WW II England. The evil of Hitler coupled with the loss of national identity. We need to take some deep breaths, pray for sanity, pray for our country, and pray for the wisdom to come against this unleashing of evil.

The ‘Tea Party’ is just in its beginning. Look at the history of the original Republican Party. It had the backing of some of the major newspapers of the era, and had its first success at the state and local level. Neither of these things is true yet of the Tea Party to that extent.

Like all movements started by non-professionals, there will be mistakes and exploiters. It will take time.
