I think all of us here agree on very little. but there is no doubt in my mind that when at some future date, the greatest music ever written by humanity will include Muskrat love.
It speaks to us all in so many ways. It tugs at the heartstrings in ways that the old standards never could. And yet, it gives up hope for a brighter day and new beginnings. It makes us look at ourselves. As a people. And what someday, we could be.
And that is something I think all freepers can agree on.
I thought that was MacArthur Park.
