The globe just experienced the hottest May in recorded history, according to reports from multiple organizations. Ocean and land temperatures rose 0.74 degrees Celsius (1.33 degrees Fahrenheit) over the 20th Century average, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). That makes May 2014 the warmest May since the agency started tracking those figures in 1880. Both NASA and Japan Meteorological Agency came to the same conclusion this was the warmest May ever recorded. Overall, this was the second warmest spring ever, trailing only the March-May period in 2010, according to the NOAA.

Bullshit. It snowed here.
There was a guy on Dick Morris radio show today that has documentation that NOAA keeps making the recent temps look warmer in the US. Actually the raw numbers show the 1930’s as the hottest. i think he has a book out on it. There is also a lot of missing data. so much of the data is made up.

More fake data. It wasn’t adjusted for the method used to collect it.
Springtime for hitlervand the propaganda machine
At 1930 hrs today the wind shifted hard out of the north. Almost unheard of here this time of year. We are hay cutting while dancing between the raindrops.
a single month does not a trend make
so how do Dec 2013, Jan & Feb & Mar & Apr 2014 stack up?
as far as my own anecdotal experience, they were cooler than usual
so, if correct, then what does that make “hot” May
“catch up heat”???
The 1st Annual Purple Hull Pea Festival was held over the weekend in the Shankleville Community in northern Newton County.
However, organizers say although the event centered on the purple hull pea, the little vegetable was actually scarce due to a long winter which stretched into the usual Spring planting time for local farmers.
That settles that! :)
My take on this report...a really BIG BULL SHIT! Bigger than Babe the “Blue” Ox could ever have deficated! NASA had to have help from the ‘Liar in Chief’ on this one!
To make it short, BS. If it was an average of 20 below across the country, it’d be “the warmest May on record.”
It’s a shame to see what used to be a fine, science based institution turn into a cheap ‘Rat pustulent slut.
It was so hot & dry here that a catfish came up from the dried up creekbed , knocked on the back door and asked for a glass of ice water.
Not here it wasn’t. We approached freezing a couple of times and never had a day above 90 that I remember. Opened the pool of necessity a few weeks late....water temp was too cold
