LISTEN UP EVERYBODY..... Is there any way that Chris McDaniel's supporters can get this word out to the people of Mississippi today and even during polling times on Election Day, tomorrow? In her Facebook rant, on June 17th, Kate Cochran, daughter of Thaddeus Cochran, called the people of Mississippi "ignorant".
“I think that Mississippians are being snookered by neocon zealots on talk radio, Fox News, and elsewhere. The New Right values extremism, obstructionism, partisanship, and--frankly--ignorance.”
That should be worth a couple of thousand votes for Chris McDaniel.
Teaparty was supposed to be about high ideals.
I thought teaparty was supposed to be about the issues (Cochran spends too much/teaparty vs. Cochran is the incumbent and does what is best for Mississippi/GOPe)
But go ahead with this. Mississippi may not like trying to smear the Senator with words of his daughter who clearly likes her dad.
I am GOPe and I hope you go with this. Sometimes dirt works, sometimes it backfires. Who knows. But I would like to see the result of this.
Give her credit. She knows her father’s supporters.

I wouldn’t doubt that the plan is to appoint her when he retires after a short time.

Cochran Campaign Staffer Arrested For Stealing Campaign Signs

BILOXI, Mississippi — A staffer for Sen. Thad Cochran’s (R-MS) re-election campaign was fired after he was arrested and accused by police of stealing campaign signs for Cochran’s primary opponent, state senator Chris McDaniel.
Lee Ellis Blair, a member of the DeSoto County GOP executive committee and Cochran campaign staffer, was arrested late Sunday and charged with “malicious mischief,” according to a partially redacted copy of the police report provided to Breitbart News.
“He’s fired. Unlike Chris McDaniel, we don’t tolerate that type of behavior,” said Cochran’s spokesman, Jordan Russell, in an email.
The police report alleged Blair “did willfully, unlawfully and maliciously or mischievously disfigure, destroy, injure (or cause to be) a Chris McDaniel campaign sign, the personal property of Tea Party Express.
Blair’s Facebook page is filled with photographs he took of Cochran throughout the campaign with other DeSoto County GOP leaders.
He is identified by a local news outlet as a “field rep” for the Cochran campaign.
Photographs of signs he allegedly tore down and destroyed include FreedomWorks signs for McDaniel and calling to “Retire Thad” and a Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund sign noting they endorsed McDaniel.
Mitch Tyner, a Jackson-based attorney and McDaniel supporter who ran against former Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour in the 2003 gubernatorial primary, told Breitbart News that Blair is a paid staffer of the Cochran campaign and is also the vice chairman of the DeSoto County Republican Club.

The article headline and summary of the quote is disingenuous. No where did the Cochran call the people of MS "ignorant". She called the "New Right" ignorant.
