And Carl’s exactly right, you put 10 people on that and you say, go to work. You don’t have to give me the answers tomorrow or the next day, but take your time. The same on the IRS scandal. That is a real issue. Some people should move to Cincinnati and get hotel rooms and say, we’re going to talk to everyone who worked in that division of the IRS.

BERNSTEIN: Also, as happened in Watergate, let some Democrats get up and say, we want a real bipartisan investigation of what happened in Cincinnati, in the IRS.

WOW! These two - Woodward and Bernstein - are speaking of a time when journalism was a honorable - trusted... didn't pay much but adherents were respected. Nice to hear 'old school' ...

Today's so-called 'journalists' are fashionistas... All attitude and energy - no substance. A mile wide - an inch deep... the modern New York Times... or NBC...

Bernstein is right that manpower needs to saturate the likely perps involved in the cover-up but they he hasn’t kept up on where the investigation has gone and it has moved way beyond Cincinnati and into IRS political-appointee staffer who made numerous trips into the White House seeming to be directly coordinating persecution of the Tea Party groups.
