Perry is swearing them all into the TX guard.

************

That maybe happening but I don’t believe it until I hear/see it from
the Executive officers of the State.

Buckeye are you hearing any such thing in your circles?

My brother in law’s cousin says you can’t hardly get in a restaurant for all the militia around his area. He says they are swarming there.

No. Gov. Perry isn’t swearing out-of-state militiamen into the Texas State Guard. First, one has to be a resident of Texas to be in the Guard. Second, there are several prerequisites such as criminal background checks, training, etc.

I can’t speak to whether or not any militia are arriving from out of state. I have not heard of any.

It’s likely that the rumor about being sworn into the Guard evolved from the following:

State Rep Steve Toth (R-The Woodlands) spoke to Texas Department of Public Safety Director, Colonel Steve McCraw about the militia groups coming to Texas. On a Facebook chat thread this morning Toth said, “Steve McCraw is not looking for anyone to show up on the border to help DPS or the Guard. If you would like to join the Guard we would love to have you but don’t show up on the border to help it will only cause confusion and lead to someone getting hurt.” - See more at: http://www.teaparty.org/texas-militia-groups-call-members-to-border-45017/#sthash.dbwudsqW.dpuf
