Federal agents this week searched the Florida home of a 'doomsday prepper' they alleged had stockpiled over 50 high-powered assault rifles and several explosive devices buried around his property as 'booby traps'.
However the warrant showed up little more than barrels of food.
Martin Winters, a father-of-three from Valrico, surrendered to police on Wednesday following a widespread two-day hunt.

Personally I wouldn’t be all that surprise to have them knock on my door someday. Sadly when they do though I will more than likely never know for sure It will be a FReeper who will ‘turn’ me in for being a prepper.

There should be a law, when ever they execute a search warrent for a prepper, they should have to pay the prepper 10x the value of his income for what he would be liable for if they actually found what they were looking for.

They found nothing but some buried barrels of food and five lawful weapons stored in a home safe, yet the guy is still in jail and not set for trial until July 17. Someone explain to me how that is legal?

This has nothing to do with the law, this has everything to do with intimidation of other gun owners.

Legal smeegal. The law is what the cops say it is. As a cop told me in 1973 “You’re guilty if I say you’re guilty.” The cops have been out of control for a long time. And I’ll bet you’ll be hard pressed to find one who has ever read one word of the constitution.

We the people, have some issues with violent criminals, gangs, and/or illegals around here, in the largely lower middle class, rural and suburban areas.

I hate to even think it but fire is going to have to be fought with fire. The people will have to become what they hate in order to stop from being forced into a life they hate.
