The Iraq War is supposed to be ended, or so the administration claimed, but the heavily armed terrorist army ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham) is rampaging through Iraq and has taken control of a chemical weapons complex. The Telegraph reports:
The jihadist group bringing terror to Iraq overran a Saddam Hussein chemical weapons complex on Thursday, gaining access to disused stores of hundreds of tonnes of potentially deadly poisons including mustard gas and sarin.
.
Isis invaded the al-Muthanna mega-facility 60 miles north of Baghdad in a rapid takeover that the US government said was a matter of concern.
.
The facility was notorious in the 1980s and 1990s as the locus of Saddams industrial scale efforts to develop a chemical weapons development programme.

Really? Once you seal something you can’t unseal it?
Yes, obviously you can.
Which is why I say it was STUPID to leave the chemical weapons there, if indeed they are there.
If it was unsealed to bring in chemical weapons from somewhere else, it’s hard to believe this would not have been detected.
The news reports make it sound like ISIS simply overran an already existing facility that was left there from way back.
There’s just no telling, it probably was something stupid. Our govt does stupid crap all the time. Our military makes plenty of mistakes and does stupid sh!t.
During the first gulf war I was an AF medic, went to England to set up a 500 bed hospital and every one of our patients were friendly fire. Lucky we didn’t get many! Seems one guy was playing with a rocket in his tent and burned him and several of his friends. STUPID.
And some stupid idiot dumped a bunch of broken glass syringes and needles in a dumpster and our CO expected me and some other guys to jump in the dumpster and hand pick them out of there. We said....uh....NO!
Stupid...you bet!
Wouldn’t be shocked at all if something stupid just like that happened here in this case either.
I watch it while I”m doing the dishes. I heard it on Shepard Smith’s show.
thanks, rarely watch shep smith
