Sen. Rand Paul (R-Kentucky) criticized former Vice President Dick Cheney and blamed "those who supported the Iraq War" for the current crisis

That would include the Clintons, Kerry and most of the house and senate.

Wasn't there a report that 250 tons of yellow cake was shipped to Canada for disposal? Weren't a number of chemical weapons labs discovered ? didn't they just say in the news that the terrorists had just taken over one of Sadam's toxic gas production sites?

Paul sounds like he reading from the Huffington Post. Wasn't he a republican at one time?

YES, you beat me to it. That would be "almost everybody", including the whole "Coalition of Nations" that went in with us, won the war (albeit is was very lengthy and costly) and left things in reasonable if tenuous condition at the time Obama came in...

Fast forward, you see the results of Obama's "finishing" the war the way he wanted to.

I had to laugh, bitterly, at the news report that ISIS had just this week taken control of one of Saddam's chemical weapons sites...that's a complete contradiction to reports that there were "no WMD"s", unless you only count nukes as WMD's, and there actually WAS evidence of nuke activity, if not actual weapons.

Rand Paul has some good qualities, but being half good is like being half baked. I would hope no one here would seriously consider him as a Presidential candidate. He would be as ruinous in many ways as Obama has been to our country, IMHO.
