Backing off on Saddam’s anthrax connections that coincides with the 911 hijackers always irritated me. I assumed it was to avoid our pre-Obama policy of retailing with the same or Nuclear weapons if attacked by nonconventional weapons.

Bush took a lot of crap for not finding them. I do remember seeing them on those trucks. I believe Syria had them the whole time.

Bush and Cheney knew all about Obama back in 2007. They knew he was an enemy within.

OK we were in the damned country for what, 10 years? And we didn’t think to destroy them while we were there?

Sounds like we never found them. Heck, there was so much info coming out I can’t really remember if we knew they were there or not. Maybe we could fess up some SuperFund money for the hazmat clean up. That should keep isis busy for a few weeks so the lyin’king can play some more golf without them interfering.

There were tons of WMDs found in Iraq after we invaded. Literally tons.
However, they were all WMDs which we were already aware that Saddam had, so they apparently didn't really count as WMDs.
For example, there were 600 tons of yellowcake uranium was moved out of Iraq by the US after the invasion in 2003.
But the media still claims no WMDs were "found" in Iraq because it was known to exist by UN inspectors since at least 1991, and was kept in sealed containers and guarded as part of Iraq's disarmament after the Gulw War in 1991.
So because we knew about this uranium and it wasn't "secret" then it doesn't count as "real" WMDs or something.
The
New York Times has a fantastic article from 2008 explaining why these WMDs aren't really WNDs.

Their comrades in Syria are probably shipping them back.

Poor excuse. George Bush was surrounded by competent people who told him.
We knew they were there and chose not to do anything about that facility probably because it would be too hazardous.

Thank you! Finally a voice of reason. This blame Bush crap is enough to drive me away from here. Enough already.

Here it is in a nut shell
The US bombed this facility in Gulf War 1. Later inspections determined that some of the bunkers were so damaged that safe entry was not possible. These bunkers tested positive for WMD agents. So they had to seal the bunkers with concrete. Now the US could not say, yes there is WMD in Iraq. Why ? Because they could not be safely removed due to the US bombing the facility. Think of how the world would have reacted to that. The bombing itself forced the agents to be left in place.
Now what was in the sealed bunkers that tested positive ? The UN inspectors could not determine. All they could do was send in a robotic camera and record the few things the camera could see. They did not take an inclusive inventory.
So basically, getting your news from corporate wh#res is no way to get through life, son.

There is a lot of criticism of Bush on this thread and it’s all deserved.

I really don’t give a flip about that. I’m referring to her questioning Cheney, the other night, on how wrong he was about Saddam’s WMD’s.
