Was the kids name, by any chance, Gore-Don? In NV, you may not wear your glasses and must tuck your hair behind your ears(male or female or in between I guess) if it is that long. One of my buddies and his wife that recently moved here were wondering why and my reply was that “In the morgue you probably won’t have your glasses on and they can just move your hair as needed to ID the body”. I don’t know if that’s the real reason or not but I sure got funny looks from both of them. :>}
I’ve seen that stupid commercial several times.
The shape of the ears is an extremely useful - because unchanging - characteristic in identifying someone.
