Whys is it ISIS and ISIL? I always think they use multiple words to keep the majority off target about what’s really up.

They are the same group, sometimes called the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (”ISIL”), or, alternatively, the Islamic State in Iraq and al-Sham (”ISIS”).
