We need to rename Oklahoma, I suggest Norte Tejas.
Still, your feedback wont change our decision, Fuhrer Adolf Hitler wrote. Some things are too important to be put to a vote.
Fascism then, fascism now.
I’m offended by the news rags name (Times). In the future, I just refer to it as the Seattle newspaper.
So you're a "honkey" with LSD flashbacks? Still seeing traces when you move your hand?
Okay. I'll refer to myself as "Tonka hunka burnin love." Oops, just realized that in the Costner movie, "Dances With Wolves", that "tonka" was the word for buffalo. So as not to disparage the Sioux, I'll change that to "Buffalota hunka burnin love". Sioux translation: "Mu-ah lay-wall hu-lah tah-tohn'-kah." I love to love buffalo. BTW, no dis-respect to the Sioux. Hope they get the joke which is on me. If not too bad. I can laugh at myself all day for loving buffalo. Har.
Probably need to shorten it up though and not offend anybody's sensibilities. Let's see: "RAINbowMan". Yes, I see colors...and possibly gay flags since I work out and brush my hair and wear short shorts ...har! Let my flags fly freely because I have nothing else to do other than make a point of my sexual preference. Oops, I offended again. Damn, someone needs to stop me...
Latent indignation???
This is all about the Leftists getting their way — nothing more.
That and Los Angeles (The Angels for short) was named from official documents of Governor Felipe de Neve of Spain, Commandant General de la Croix and Viceroy Bucareli claimed the settlement was simply to be named El Pueblo de la Reina de Los Angeles (The Town of the Queen of the Angels.) There was a longer name originally.
Early Los Angeles was a classic example of the ruling class over-lording the peasant working class, which were mostly native americans. Over time, the Spanish got so rich, powerful, and dominating that they also subjugated the lower-class Spaniards.
Los Angeles has an ugly history. When other Eurpeons took control, they built it into a prosperous city that was once a shining light. Now, it has reverted back to Mexican (Spanish/Indian) tribal conflict, not to mention the wars with the blacks.
At least in the late 1700's to late 1800's, the peasants worked hard for their subsistence. Now, the so-called peasants are all about EBT cards and what they can get from others.
LA is a frigging mess and many areas look like a foreign country. I know because I grew up just miles south. I was actually born in the Queen of Angels hospital in the middle of LA. Now, I wouldn't go near it.
Excellent! I can just imagine the sports page headlines ...
Nope, mostly monochromatic - varying shades of white (or rather, pink and other colors, and the intensities depend on how much I've been out in the sun).
I do own a copy of "Disraeli Gears," however.
The Washington NFL franchise should just quietly change their name to Washington Red Pins (as in pinning an opponent to the mat or in moving the pin or yard markers). And they should make a likeness of Jim Thorpe, or Cochise, or whatever Indian Tribe lived in the Washington area historically as their mascot.
Washington Red Tapes was mY original. But now I like the....

I still think that changing the logo of my alma mater from Redskins to Redhawks was one of the most cowardly and despicable things the university ever did. When I was a student there, we felt we were honoring the Miami tribe by using that name. However, political correctness, not to mention cowardice, carried the day.
Note that Miami University still owns the copyright on the old logo, so no one can make Redskins memorabilia. I'm hanging on to mine, over 60 years later.
Massachusetts itself was named after a tribe yet the link doesn’t even show that fact.
Weird.
.
How about a team name that honors our current President: The Obama Idjits. The mascot should resemble Obama scratching his butt
I guess the Chicago Blackhawks will be undergoing a name change soon? Of course, with Bammy hailing from Chicago,
I wonder if the Blackhawks have been granted an exception from this persecution...
I like it! LOl...
