I know lots of games...The problem (that most people finally realize, much too late) is I always play to win...
What the politicians do not realize is that some of us are not playing games...
Riddle said, Governor Perry is very angry that the feds are doing nothing about this problem. She went on to say, I didnt expect the feds to do anything.”>>>>>>>
Yes the Feds will indeed do something. They will fight the Police of the State of Texas, rather than let Texas close the border.( Obama wants to wage demographic warfare on Texas, converting it from a Red to a Blue state, which is federal policy.)
America just doesn’t get it. Obama is a fascist.
No worries. I think we have all done that at one time or another. :-)
We the people know what needs to be done...
The problem is getting a “leader” that is unapologetic about leading the way and actually helping US get it done...
Screw the PR side of this...Public opinion these days can be used in our favor, if we know how to diffuse it and the media that exasperates the problem till we get tired or apathetic about the issue or overall fight...
Cruz is “almost” there...He has so much stacked against him it is only a matter of time before that ship buckles...It is an inevitability...
It also takes more than just one, or a small handful of people of like mind and purpose, real servants, to inspire others to get off their collective asses and “Join or Die”...
That last bit has more meaning than just the physical side of the statement...
It is the antiquity of hat the modern vernacular would say: “Poop!!! Or get off the pot!” phrase...
In the world of politics, it takes more than just a handful, of people, to get anything done these days...And maybe that’s a good thing...
I for one would feel guilty about sending troops to the border with handcuffs on and cases of water to distribute to the problem at hand...To me that is rolling out the “welcome mat”...
This is just the domestic side of the equation...
The biggest problem is compelling foreign governments to clean house as well, when our own house is filthy...
Damn, this is some good stuff, I need to write some of this down before someone steals it, and before I fergit it...;-)
ME NEITHER!!! DAB NABBIT!!!
HEYYYYYY ABBOTT!!!
;-)
Yes realization does come late for some in the game. Oh, the politicians do know; but what they don’t want to face is most of them at one point or another will fall like the rest of us. They are not going to be needed.
Of course, even if they don’t want to face the facts that they will fall at a certain point, they are either bought and paid for and know like in any tyrannical episode; leaving could spell disaster for them too(scared to death); so they have chosen the weak road to get what they can before the inevitable happens. Only problem there is their fate is sealed if they don’t change. I would like like most people for them to change; but greed and power are pretty powerful. But, it’s pie in the sky thinking. They have chosen and it’s too bad; but we must continue.
Fellow Texans, keep burning up the faxes, emails and phones at the governors office and the offices of your representatives!
Ask what they intend to do about the massive invasion of illegal aliens into Texas, bringing crime, disease, drugs and unbelievable expense to the state to care for them.
This is sheer insanity!
HOUSTON, TexasGovernor Rick Perry (R-TX) appeared on Fox News Fox and Friends show and said Texas lacks the resources and manpower to secure the 1,200 mile Texas border... BS!
Other Texas elected officials, speaking on condition of anonymity have told Breitbart Texas that Texas does, in fact, have the resources to conduct not only a surge operation, but a prolonged border control operation that would secure the Texas border with Mexico.

Request for Immediate Texas Border Control
We, the undersigned, because the federal government has failed to act, call on the Texas Legislature to develop and fund a border and port of entry security plan utilizing state and local law...
On the TX members Action Board - a link to fax Perry and phone call to make to your R Reps supporting Rep Louie Gohmerts Fortify the Border Amendment.
You have to be registered at NumbersUSA....its worth joining for all of the faxes you can send to your elected officials. These are good guys, whove been fighting the good fight for YEARS.
Additionally, anyone can call Perry and anyone can ask their Rep to support Gohmert's amendment.
You are, of course, right; however, it can take just one person, the right person. A real leader. Everything else with the right components will come out in the wash or fall into line. The world has always faced corruption and war. That’s a fact. I really really like Cruz; but I like Gov. Walker too. I know he is being ambushed just like Palin and anyone else who could help it seems like now. You got to work around it. No, it’s not easy. Even doing the wrong thing is not easy.
Yes, I am really enjoying this. :)
What is it, then? "Obama's Miracle", since he was passing out the Porkulus?
To what do you attribute the very real growth in the Texas economy? Would the state have done as well if, say, Andrew Cuomo or Jerry Brown had been the governor for the past 14 years?
My understanding of the issue is limited, but I gather once an illegal is seen crossing, the US border guards can NOT send them packing, but have to round them up and detain them? If that is the case can the Texas government finance its own fence?
The Blueing of Texas.
I don’t care who they are, be they New York, California or Texas. If they needed or used bailout money to get where they are they have not been successful. You can think so if you’d like, I just happen to believe differently.

Then why didn’t she take advantage of that when SB-1070 got shot-down?
Lack of resources my bleep. First step should be to deputize border property owners with “shoot -on-sight “ authority. That would immediately identify just where the problem is. If the State can’t get off its butt then property owners should be collaring the local sheriffs for help and badges. At some point the local folks have to get their backs up and stiff. There have to be a half million private firearms within a mile or so of the Mexican border-———USE ‘EM.
FACT SHEET FOR S.B. 1070
immigration; law enforcement; safe neighborhoods
Purpose
Requires officials and agencies of the state and political subdivisions to fully comply with and assist in the enforcement of federal immigration laws and gives county attorneys subpoena power in certain investigations of employers. Establishes crimes involving trespassing by illegal aliens, stopping to hire or soliciting work under specified circumstances, and transporting, harboring or concealing unlawful aliens, and their respective penalties.

SB-1070 pertained to immigration.
The laws I cited do not pertain to immigration, but to a proclamation of an emergency or the protection of lives or property.
You’re arguing with a fence post. South40 despises Perry and will not attribute anything good to him. Give up before you get a headache. :)
btw...I missed you on the thread about Perry praising Hillary. Why no defense of your favorite liberal governor there?
Hillary is a very, very capable public servant, great secretary of state, first lady, ~ La Raza Rick Perry
And you think this man should be POTUS? lol!
