When I grew up, “Socialist” = “Communist” and that meant mass murder, concentration camps, police state, no democracy, no freedom, death and poverty for all....except the murderous Apparatchiks at the top.

What’s different? Not them. They are all still the same.

What changed is we now don’t associate the same evil with them that the word “Nazi” used to evoke.

But they are still evil, and nothing about them has changed.

I remember back in the 90s when some of us were fond of warning people about the Democratic Socialists of America and their domination of the Democrat party.

I also being called a Bircher loon.

a letter to the editor in our local rag a few weeks ago pleaded with the newspaper NOT to print any more global warming deniers opinions anymore, since its all moot because TPTB have decreed that it is true...

look for more of the same...these people don't want liberty and openess and freedome and diversity....they want their opinions to reign over everyone else's...
