There are many things you'd never expect Glenn Beck to say: "Barack Obama is a great president," "the Affordable Care Act was a huge success," "amnesty for all undocumented immigrants!"
But "liberals, you were right" tops them all. And yet:
"From the beginning, most people on the left were against going into Iraq. I wasnt.... Liberals, you were right. We shouldnt have."
Beck made this surprising declaration on his radio show on Tuesday while discussing the widening rift between Republicans and Democrats. He urged both parties to come together to oppose another war in Iraq.
"Not one more life. Not one more life. Not one more dollar, not one more airplane, not one more bullet, not one more Marine, not one more arm or leg or eye. Not one more," he said. "This must end now. Now can't we come together on that?"

Hindsight may be 20/20 but it is hindsight and does not reveal what might have been. And it makes little difference because we will continue to make the same decisions and hope this time the results will be different. That has been going on for years and thus the mess we in in today.
What lesson from Vietnam, to be like Obama and the left?
No. The lesson is summed up in a saying I heard a long time ago: Democracies should go to war reluctantly and fiercely.

So tell me what the lessons are from Vietnam that apply to pulling out of Iraq.
I see it the same way. Destroy the army kill Saddam and leave.
What happens when Iran, Iraq and the rest of the middle east declare war on America and has 1 billion trained terrorists?
Liberal opposition to the war in Iraq, which liberals in congress voted for at the time because they knew that most Americans were thirsting for revenge for 9-11, was late formed and only because it was a stick in the eye to W.
Hindsight, very useful and safe. Everyone can say what they would have done after the game is over.
My hindsight is actually foresight. Do not wage war unless you are committed to a WWII policy, unconditional surrender, victor writes the rules, victor tries and executes government and military for crimes against humanity.
Afghanistan’s “constitution” was written by Eurocrats in Belgium I believe.
The piece they allowed or even put in on their own (they love to suck up to Satanists—Islamists) was that no part of this constitution would conflict with Sharia Law.
So, follow the thread, USSR invades to support a puppet coup that eliminated the sitting Afghan King.
Then to add idiocy to lunacy the US gives the Islamists Stinger missiles, hooray, then the US adds to the pointless carnage and puts troops on the ground, well, 13 years later the US is retreating again.
All was for NOTHING! Just as in Iraq, as in Korea, as in Viet Nam. For nothing.
I have a right to say this. Build your memorials, commemorate the dead, leave widows and sisters and brothers and fathers and mothers, leave the friends to weep and to wave the flag for the young Americans who died.
I don’t. I won’t. These people were sacrificed for no reason.
Or not, were you there?
Did you see it up close and personal?
I am tired of pointing this out, but I will again. When you go to war you go to win. And you write the rules under unconditional surrender. You set the rules that the vanquished will live under.
Anything less is just treason.
We have lived under treason since 1945.
Flame away. I don’t care. I really don’t.
Which poll says 51% approve of Obama?
“Which poll says 51% approve of Obama?”
Looks like I missed the 4 on the keyboard and hit a 5.
Given all that has occurred 41% is still high enough to have the Congresscritters more afraid of Obama than their constituents.
