It's a self fulfilling prophesy. He is trying to promote his movie and he is dissing potential customers.

I won’t be seeing it. That stuff looks like the same type of trash the Wayans brothers released last year - Scary Movie and then if that wasn’t trashy enough the just came out with a sequel.
