A Texas woman who became a convicted felon for causing a 2004 car crash that killed her fiancé has learned that General Motors (GM) counts the accident as one of 13 deaths it blames on its defective ignition switches.
Candice Anderson was driving her 2004 Saturn Ion in Canton, Texas, with her fiancé Mikale Erickson in November 2004 when she lost control of the vehicle and crashed. Mr. Erickson, the father of two small children, was killed. Ms. Anderson was thrown through the windshield and barely survived the crash herself. The vehicles airbags never deployed.
Police could find no causes for the crash no skid marks or other evidence that would indicate why the crash occurred. Tests showed that Ms. Anderson was drug- and alcohol-free at the time of the crash. Tests showed that she had only a trace amount of anti-anxiety medication in her system at the time.

My .02 correction:
"Tell me why we they bailed them out again?"
"We" paid-for/will-pay for it.
"They" bailed them out so they could bankrupt the company and (try to) toss this liability in with the banko. Criminal is the word here, but no one will investigate it/prosecute.
Hell, GM's prolly already 'lost all the emails/files'...
Thanks for the correction. It certainly sounded like Twain, however. That said, I’d be willing to bet that Twain used it more than once.
I’ll do the research BEFORE posting from now on.
Unless there was an entry in the bankruptcy filing citing this sort of thing as a liability, it was not discharged in the bankruptcy.
I never know what to expect out of Calvinball.
Now that you mention it, they broke most of the other rules on bankruptcy, so why not this one too?
