Syria war planes struck two separate Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) convoys near the town of Al Qaim just inside Iraq over the weekend, two well-placed senior U.S. defense officials told Fox News.
The Syrian planes struck on Saturday with the help of Iranian intelligence, sources familiar with the incident said.

I’ll side with Assad in this one. At least he doesn’t slaughter Christian simply because they exist.

The clown show called the obama adminstration must be getting really confused on who are our enemies and who are our friends....
Of course, everyone in the ME except Israel is our enemy to one degree or more...
Too bad our brilliant boy king can’t figure that out... or is an active player on the enemy side...

ISIS has given Iran a route and an excuse to send a land army directly into Syria. Stand by for Iranian Republican Guard units to be stationed across Iraq and Syria. And if they ever leave, they’ll have a Status of Forces agreement in place first.

I doubt that the warplanes in question were Syrian. Either U.S. or more likely Israeli.

No, not strange, nor surprising. But it is amusing.

From the perspective of Israel, having stable governments running the surrounding nations is always to their advantage even if those governments are enemies of Israel. Stable governments understand the consequences of attacking Israel and chaotic terrorists just don’t care.
Obama has sown nothing but chaos in the region.

Ill side with Assad in this one.

Everything is relative and between ISIS and Assad your call is easy. Unlike Obummer, Assad is at least acting. It seems to me that this over extension by ISIS into Iraq would be a grand opportunity for a pincer action, cutting them off and annihilating them in Iraq.

Likely the reporter left out the word ‘assessment’. Not surprising since the media is pulling for ISIS.
