Retiring Sen. Tom Coburn lashed out at outside groups ads attacking Rep. James Lankford in the Oklahoma GOP primary to replace him next year, calling them untruthful and representative of politics in its very worst form.
Coburn singled out negative ads by Senate Conservatives Fund and Oklahomans for a Conservative Future aimed at boosting the candidacy of tea party darling T.W. Shannon, the former state House speaker whos drawn the support of national conservatives like Sarah Palin and Sens. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Mike Lee (R-Utah).

Dr. Coburn, kindly shut up. When you attack the Chamber of Crony Capitalism for their interference, let us know.
SHANNON FOR SENATE
What means “outside”?
I’m on the GOP ExCom at the County level.
That’s very “grass roots” and NOT “outside”!
Please just go away.
This guy is perfectly typical of the SICKNESS that is Washington. We he was first elected, he was a giant. I couldn’t wait for him to become President.
Now after 10+ years in that cesspool, he is totally polluted and useless.
Dittos.
Yeah, he lost me years ago.
I think he’s petty much a worthless goofball.
And I’m pretty sure that he was an early endorser of John McCain in 2008. So that pretty much tells you what his “values” are.
Anyway, I don’t know about the Oklahoma race but I’m for whomever Senator Cruz is for.
Tell ya what Tommy. Why don’t you take some of these 19 year old “toddlers” coming across the border home with you. All their tattoos give me the creeps.
The Uniparty hates competition.
This guy was fantastic when he first went down to D.C. Now he’s a joke.
Anyway, I dont know about the Oklahoma race but Im for whomever Senator Cruz is for.

TW Shannon: Black, Conservative, Speaker of the House in OK.
monsanto hates to see him go.
coburn was once a good representative.
sad to say he is not the man he was before.
Senator Coburn has a lot in common with Governor Barbour, they both apparently believe Republicans in their states should allow them to make their political decisions.
