We used to have a temporary visa for migrant workers to come here from south of the border to work on harvests/seasonal/temporary jobs and return home after the job was done. This program worked fine until the Rats & Rinos saw them as a voting bloc to be exploited. Now here we are with millions of illegal aliens AND THEIR FAMILIES living full-time in the USA on the dole.
Let’s go back to President Eisenhower’s program of securing the border and enforcing immigration laws. Maybe we can catch a break by taking Republican control of both Houses and undo the mess by putting Conservatives in the leadership positions. President Walker would go for that program, I expect.
