I have lost a lot of faith in all the once shall we say ‘heroic’ agencies we believed would do the right things when needed.

WHY can’t he use the National Guard? Serious question, I would like to get a serious answer. Is there some Federal law that prevents it or just lack of guts?
These agencies were never “heroic”. The exist to get funding from taxpayers. There are some individual “heroes” in these agencies, however. It’s mostly all about funding though.
