True - but for a good reason.

For most of the campaign, Brat trailed in all polls by 25%-30%.

Even in the last week, Cantor’s own pollster had Cantor up 10%-15%.

One of the national Tea Party leaders said it would have been completely “irresponsible” for the Tea Party to commit their limited funds to someone who was that far behind.

Unlike elite organizations like the RNC or DNC the Tea Party is made up of many individual citizens.

We backed Brat with our votes - not with cash collected from a bunch of elites.

Rick Santelli, Rush Limbaugh and Jim Robinson ARE the spiritual fathers of the Tea Party movement. Ain't none of 'em collecting from 'the Bigs'.
