Great questions which contrasts sharply with the CBS online report:
WASHINGTON - The Internal Revenue Service says it has lost a trove of emails to and from a central figure in the agency's tea party controversy. The IRS told congressional investigators Friday it cannot locate many of Lois Lerner's emails prior to 2011 because her computer crashed that year. Lerner headed the IRS division that processed applications for tax-exempt status.
...The IRS was able to generate 24,000 Lerner emails from the 2009 to 2011 because Lerner had copied in other IRS employees. The agency said it pieced together the emails from the computers of 83 other IRS employees.
But an untold number are gone. Camp's office said the missing emails are mainly ones to and from people outside the IRS, "such as the White House, Treasury, Department of Justice, FEC, or Democrat offices."

Why wasn’t all data restored on the new drive?
Now it appears Lerner is not the only one in the IRS to be culpable. It is time to pull in the people who are responsible for the servers to testify under oath that her hard drive crash caused these e-mails to be permanently lost.

Nope, not a smidgeon of scandal. Nice work, Zero.
The emails can be retrieved.
I take it you don’t believe the ‘lost’ lie either....
Email isn’t usually stored on a person’s pc. There are servers and tape backups and regulations requiring organizations to have access to the last seven years worth of records. That her computer crashed and the hard drive was lost is an idiot’s excuse that the sheeple are expected to believe.
so they ‘recycled’ backups of a server in the middle of an investigation?
I have been in Telecom for 30 years.
It isn’t possible to believe this outrageous lie.
A person's PC is one of the places email is stored. Just because the PC crashed does not mean the email that was on that PC's hard drive is lost. Most likely that isn't the cause of the crash. The most likely cause is caps gone bad on the system board or video card. Most of the time the data on the hard drive of a "crashed" PC can be recovered. I do understand email servers and tape backups also having copies of email archived.
Nothing will be done about this corruption. The victims were Tea Party conservatives, hated by liberals and GOP-e alike, who both are naive enough to think the same cannot happen to them if they don’t toe the line. Anyone who cares has no power to do anything to stop it.
Liberal elite liars are in luck - the New York Times (and MSM) will send reporters out to the people dems give them as sources... and for some strange reason those people will parrot dem lies on the IRS email question.
No problem. It was a different title, and I just wanted to make sure you had the ability to see the conversation there.
I’m not a search/blog mall cop like some here.
