I have no faith in this administration. The only hope is luck.
From another thread...last communication out of the embassy was the cryptic three word....
Alamo too late
Looks like a code message that should probably not be discussed in public (loose lips and all).
Supposedly, the message was Too late Alamo, and it arrived Saturday. IOW, old news already.
you are correct
Yeah, not good. Reports of the Taji supply base being captured too.

There was reported to be a large amount of contractors for the Pentagon working at the tank training grounds there. Hopefully they are on their way to safety, but knowing the Obama administration and the horrible way they treat American citizens, who knows ?
They’re the only ones I grieve for in this clusterF. Policy-wise, we were always building castles in the sand.
They’ve been claiming to have taken Taji for three days now. As of 12 hours ago, it was still in government hands.
Any American contractor still there should expect to go it alone.
And it will all be on Youtube. I can't believe the videos they are allowing the terrorists to post
Thanks, hopefully that’s good info. Plenty of fog out there right now.
The ISIS terrorists don’t allow media embedding for some reason.
They can expect about as much help as Ambassador Stevens and company got in Benghazi.
Since at 7 am PDT this morning, Iraqi Air Line planes have been landing at the Baghdad Air Port. A Zagrog air line plane landed a few minutes ago after some interesting dog legs.
Other airlines appear to be avoiding the airport or getting waved off.

A Jordan Air 2911 took off from Baghdad airport at 17:33.
Go to http://www.flightradar24.com/2014-06-16/17:35/12x/33.33,44.28/10
Set the play back clock to 17:30 and watch it haul out and up.
A few chosen air liners are taking off and landing at fairly regular intervals;

One Iraqi air liner flew up north a little, then over Baghdad and down the east side of Baghdad.
An Iraqi air line flight IA943 just took off from Baghdad Airport.

Set the play back time to 18:OO and watch the ? zoom forward until it is identified as IA943.
We don’t know what has happened or will happen at the airport.
At this time it seems to be working for landings and take offs.
Thanks for the 2 posts about flights
