given how bad his golf score is, there may be some truth to that. if i golfed that much i would get much better. but i wouldn't be too arrogant to get lessons and ask for advice or too lazy to practice.
FWIW, per the Desert Sun article, one of the 4 courses he’s played at in the Palm Springs area was known as the Indio Muni course, which is in the lower tier on quality. It’s improved than earlier years, but not in the same league as a hundred other courses in the area. The others he has played at tend to be all gay, though he did play at Indian Wells, which is one of the better courses around.
